Córdoba's only natural wine shop

Wine made by real people, food from the market, and one long table on Plaza de San Andrés. A glass right now, or something to celebrate? There's room for both.

Jugo's interior seen from the street at dusk: string lights, the long table, a bottle holding a sunflower and the wine shelves at the back

This started out as a wine shop and ended up as a table.

Jugo opened in 2017 on Plaza de San Andrés as a natural wine shop. What nobody planned was that the table would end up running the place.

Everything happens around it: tastings, cooking classes, dinners, art shows, readings and community fermentation nights. Someone comes in for a bottle and ends up with a glass in their hand. Three hours later they leave having eaten, had a drink or two and met someone new.

What we serve is simple to say: living wines, made by real, committed people; and healthy, delicious, local food. And a way of welcoming people we're not shy about naming: radical hospitality.

Come sit at our table.

Who's behind it

New York, Barcelona, an artists' residency in a mountain village and, since 2017, this shop. Over twenty-five years in the kitchen and one conviction: a good meal does not require explanation, only attention to detail and radical hospitality.

The natural winemakers of Andalusia

We're putting together a guide to the people who make these wines: who they are, where they are, and why they're worth a visit. We'll send it to you when it's ready.
